Stag Print wins silver

Stag Print was crowned silver winner in the Family Business category at this year’s SME Surrey Business Awards. The event took place on 12 September in Shepperton, where over 150 business people were in attendance. We’re also finalists in the SME National Awards happening on 6 December – fingers crossed! Read the full press release here.

Gift boxes for Bare Bar

We recently produced some fabulous gift boxes for Bare Bar; perfect for the Christmas season! Designed from scratch, and featuring a shelf to hold the soap in place, we worked closely with them to create a cutter guide and mock-up they were happy with before final printing. Gift and influencer kit boxes are a powerful marketing tool. Drop us an email to see how we could help you.

GSM myths

GSM (grams per square metre) is a well-known phrase in the printing and packaging world. Many people believe it’s to do with the thickness of the paper, and some people, even in our industry, confuse it with the density of paper. It’s neither. In our latest blog we dispel the myths and clarify the facts.

A paper Christmas

Quality Street is trialling a paper tub in time for Christmas. This follows their move to paper wrappers in 2022. The new tubs, available in selected Tesco stores, are made from 100% virgin fibre corrugated cardboard, which is fully recyclable. This shift is a promising sign towards a more sustainable future in confectionery.
