New machines

At any print factory, the guillotine is one of the highest utilised machines. We needed an upgrade; our new machine has efficiency features increasing our cutting productivity by 20%. This catalyst also prompted us to invest in a die-cutting machine, which handles a larger sheet and runs 30% faster. All in time for our busiest January ever – well done team!

Packaging for Profiler+

At the start of the year, we were happy to produce more packaging for local company Profiler+. This has seen us produce sustainable paper sleeves for their ‘ultimate scribe tool’. This tool is a popular piece of equipment in a range of trade communities from carpentry and woodwork to builders and renovators. Check out their website to learn more.

Pro bono print

In 2024 we will continue to show our support for Guildford-based mental health charity, Oakleaf. Most recently by providing them with our printing services pro bono. We produced a range of wonderful postcards and prints for them which are proudly displayed at their offices. Take a look at their website to see their events for the year and support their dedicated work.

Plastic-free punnets

Large UK retailer, Sainsbury’s, has embarked on an environmental initiative as reported in their article. The scheme will see their non-renewable own brand mushroom punnets replaced with cardboard alternatives. This move is anticipated to save over 775 tonnes of plastic; their biggest single plastic removal to date. Well done Sainsbury’s!
