350gsm silk card was used to provide a sturdy, heavy weight product; when folded the 3 layers produced a stiff 1,050gsm brochure. Soft touch lamination was applied to both sides adding a velvety feel and making it feel even thicker.

The photographs of MRI scans were given a ‘real-look’ effect by applying Spot UV gloss. The gloss enhanced the imagery and gave a more realistic appearance to the photographs, similar to how they would look on a monitor screen.
